Timothy Clark is a writer and speaker, and a Software Engineer working in fintech. He writes about cybersecurity and professional practice, with a quarterly Practical Security column in BCS IT Now magazine.

He chairs the BCS Early Careers Executive and the BCS Preston & District branch, and is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists. He studied Computer Science at Lancaster University, where he founded the BCS Student Chapter, and in 2020 received the WCIT Gold University IT Award for contributions to extra-curricular activity.
